Return to You
Week 2
It’s about looking for progress, not perfection. Small moments done consistently, can make a real difference.
This week’s focus
Get Outside
Yes, it’s winter. Yes, it’s cold. You might need an extra layer, you might even get a little bit wet. But step outside anyway. Take a deep breath of the crisp winter air, notice the sky, and give your nervous system a chance to reconnect with the world around you.
It doesn’t have to be a long walk. It could be:
Stepping outside with your morning cuppa for a few minutes
Eating your lunch outdoors
Walking to the letterbox
Taking a short walk around the block after work
Standing outside, noticing what you see and hear while you take a few breaths
This week’s practice
Physiological Sigh
A simple breathing technique that helps your body natrually release tension and settle your nervous system. It’s quick and evidence based, and it can be used anytime you notice yourself feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or needing a reset.
The more often you practice when you are calm, the easier it becomes to access when life feels busy.
Remember
You don’t need to master every practice in this program. Over the next 6 weeks, you’re building your own nervous system toolkit. Some practices will feel more helpful than others, and that’s exactly what we’re looking for.
Keep the ones that work for you. Leave the ones that don’t.
This is about you discovering what helps you return to yourself.
